Full Name
Cybill Watkins
Job Title
Product Legislation Manager
Company
Zellis UK Ltd
Speaker Bio
Having spent over 25 years in mainstream payroll in a variety of roles from administration and consulting to payroll management and senior leader roles, Cybill moved to Zellis to pursue her love of all things legislation.

Being a self-confessed payroll geek with an obsession for all things payroll and HR legislation, she hid her struggles with the way she saw the world, how her brain worked and her inability to fit in. Cybill was eventually diagnosed as Autistic (Asperger’s) and combined ADHD at 45 years old. Before the mention of Asperger’s Cybill hadn’t heard of it and also had a limited view on ADHD, but with many hours of research and the diagnosis process itself, things started to fall into place. Cybill says ‘my neurodivergent story is a life story of struggles, failures, masking, inability to stay in a job and severe mental health issues.’

Life started to finally make sense, and Cybill has then found a love to talk about Neurodiversity and help managers and business change their views and approach to make the working world more accessible. Cybill is a big advocate for neurodivergent people to join the payroll & HR profession and through her own experiences is now sharing her life, strengths and struggles, what has and hasn’t helped her, and what a manager can do to support their team. She also wants to help those who may have traits, be on the diagnosis journey, or who just need ideas to start to be able to settle in a career.
